Mostly various leaks and rumors online. TLJ's title was revealed on January 23, 2017, so it's pretty likely sizzling hot deluxe slot will happen this week. Only time will tell, but it's coming soon.

Can't wait!

Rey and that Vader light guy will turn out to be siblings. And the Force will balance itself by making them both turn to the dark side, as a mirror to Luke and Leia.

But my idea is way too interesting for these vanillified remakes.

Episode IX title speculation, anyone? How about...

Risen From Darkness

I like the fake 'leaked' title of 'Balance of the Force'

That was my guess for the Episode IX title 3 years ago, back when we were speculating about Episode VIII:

What if the supposed original title of VII gets passed to VIII?

Episode VIII - The Ancient Fear

Also, I'm calling it now:

Episode IX - Balance of the Force

I couldn't have been the first to think of it though. It's an obvious title.

They’ve never done The Verb Noun!

I’m pretty sure this one was rumored for Ep 1 back in the day.

I'm sick of Verb of the Noun. And I hate The Noun Verb and The Verb Noun too.

Can't they do something original like Adjective Noun Verb or something?

What? You misunderstood me. The title is literally Star Wars: Verb of the Noun.

I'm really surprised Disney hasn't started advertising this film already.  I don't necessarily mean teasers/trailers but at least a title drop to start drumming up interest.  I understand the release is 10 months away but they started advertising TLJ around this time and TFA over a year in advance with a teaser no less.

I'd like to see a title that preserves the alphabetical ordering of the sequel trilogy. TFA and TLJ automatically sort into the same order in iTunes as their episode numbering. As long as IX is titled "The M____ _____" to "The Z____ _____," I won't have to put "Ep. ___" before the title to keep everything in order in my iTunes playlist. The title could even be "The Li___ _____" and it'll work.

Star Wars Episode IX: Owing to the Great Leggy Success of the MCU, We Didn’t Think We Could Kill This Franchise, Which Even George Lucas’s and Jar Jar Couldn’t, But Watch This!

I wonder if Disney will play it differently this time. Starving us for news for longer. Building speculation.

"Starving us for news"?

We've had C-3PO being sad (what?!) and whatshisface bleeding - literally! - all over social media.

They're teasing us, all right: prick teasing.
