Étrangement, hier cette nouvelle n'était pas encore diffusée dans les médias français!

 

EDIT: Et elle ne l'est toujours pas aujourd'hui.

Just out of curiosity, isn't it more common for an adverb like hier to be placed at the end of a sentence in French?

 

E.g. Curieux, car je l'ai vraiment vu(,) hier soir! instead of Curieux, car hier soir(,) je l'ai vraiment vu!
