The one question I'd ask John Williams would be, "Will you look at me quivering, like a little girl shivering?"

 

I'm sure he would absolutely love it and think it was the best question he had ever been asked.  Before having me killed.

My for-real, non-joke answer to the thread:

 

As someone who is not a musician or versed in music theory, I don't know that I'd ask him anything especially profound.  I'd just want to shake his hand and thank him for all the joy he's given me in my life.

After the loud clatter of xylophone? The low sustained notes are bass vibraphone. There are some logs in that cue too, along other things.
