The Illustrious Jerry 3,356
I have just been listening some more to Michael Giacchino's Spiderman: Homecoming. I have heard in a few tracks what sounds a lot like an incidental quote of Georges Bizet's Farandole from L'Arlesienne Suite No. 2. Here is an example, around 1:01-1:15. And here is Farandole. The section I was thinking of was around 0:16-0:33, but the general tune is throughout. Obviously it has no connection and is unintentional, but it stood out to me very much. toothless and Arpy
Arpy 4,145
Yes, I hear the similarities, I think it's just a coincidence that Gia phrased that passage using the Chase motif in that particular way.

The Illustrious Jerry 3,356
Can't say I care enough to inquire about a sessions leak, as the OST was ample music for me for this score. Still one of my favourite from Giacchino, though.

Jay 37,355
I made a Spotify playlist for it: https://open.spotify.com/user/1219032234/playlist/6PYwkn3QoyYmmQjvAM8TXE?si=2EvCwazMQpCN8zQboZCxIQ It's 43 minutes. The actual vinyl probably drops the high school band source music easter egg at the end of the suite on the CD/digital version

Popular Post Jay 37,355
I just finished listened to my spotify playlist of the LP program. It's actually a very nice assembly of highlights, probably pretty close or maybe even identical to what I would have gone with. If there's anything wrong with it, it's that it's a BIT action-heavy, but I love the action material in this score so I don't really mind. It was nice to revisit this score, it'd been a little while. Arpy 4,145
Was looking over the booklet and credits and saw William Ross credited as one of the orchestrators! I wonder if that relationship grew from Rogue One or was it circumstance?
