I'll try to throw something together for the Newer Films thread but: I liked it a lot, its super fun and full of creativity!  The guy playing Valerian was absolutely terrible though, he acted completely opposite of how Valerian was written, while conversely the girl playing Laureline was great!

Just saw this movie yesterday, which I quite liked. Not as flawless as LUCY, but better than I expected.

 

As for Desplat's music, I can't really tell. I could hardly hear anything in the mix.
