Have you ever written a letter to a film composer?

No, no physical letter. But I've e-mailed with plenty.

Com'on Thor, he doesn't own a droid.  I mean a computer!

Letter writing is an increasingly rare thing, and something I do semi-regularly. It's more effort but more personal as a result.

Composer-wise, I have written to John Williams, Bear McCreary and Debbie Wiseman and got replies back. Wiseman even wrote me a thank-you note, very classy woman.

I wish I had written to James Horner back in the day. One FSM member corresponded with him in the 1980s to 1990s, even had the pictures to back them up.

Dear John Williams,

I love the Always OST. Please release the film version of "The Never-Feast" or I'll find you and kill you. Why would you keep this from us? Thanks.

Love,

Justin

Yes, many. Thank you notes for gifts, random letters I'm told to write to my grandparents, etc. My mom likes the traditional old ways.

However, it's far from my primary mode of communication, let's put it that way.

I don't think I've written a single physical letter since writing thank you notes for cash gifts received when I graduated from high school 12 years ago.  My wife wrote all the thank you notes for our wedding presents :D
