Gnome in Plaid 219
Listening to ROTJ, I remembered a blog I stumbled across a few years ago that applied academic musical analysis techniques to film scores. At the time, it was way over my head, and I just scanned it and moved on, but now I'd love to give it another try, but can't seem to find it anywhere. All I remember of it (beyond the fact that the posts were quite long and far beyond my understanding at the time) are two particular posts: 1. The first post I found, one shortly after "Radagast the Brown" was released as the first teaser track for AUJ that connected (what were then thought to be) Radagast's themes to the "White Rider in Nature" and some of the secondary Isengard material. 2. A theory that "Battle of the Heroes" is a hybrid of sorts between "Across the Stars" and "A Jedi's Fury." Did anyone else ever come across this/know what the site is/was?
