The "window" story is a fairly famous anecdote that he's told several times. It's even in the liner notes of the soundtrack CD to FAMILY PLOT. When I initially saw it was a clip about working with Hitchcock, I thought it was going to be the "Mr. Williams, murder can be fun!" story that he's told many times!
