there's a jewel case version? where?

Jay claims there is one available on the UK Amazon. Guess we'll find out when he gets his copy.

So is this one the Digipak or the Jewel Case? This one has "Jewel Case" in the name, but is more expensive, the other one doesn't have any packaging info.

Good questions.  I don't know if we'll know for sure until someone buys one and reports back!

UK Amazon advertises both digipack, and jewel cases.

Poor Bes. What are you angry about, now? Tell your uncle Dickie.

Yeah, I have it it jewel case, digipack, HMV exclusive, vinyl, and cassette.

Got the TLJ digipack today. That’s the only one that Tower Records in Dublin had out. They had it in prime position where they put all new releases rather than just putting it in the soundtrack section like they’d normally do.

The HMV where I bought the TFA ost two years ago no longer exists.

I too have the TFA jewel case edition.

Does anyone know whether the jewel case and digipak versions have different barcodes?

There are two listings at my local online retailer, but they don't specify the packaging.

The barcode numbers are 050087377200 and 050087377205.

Oh dear, so there are three different versions?

0050087377200 (?)

0050087377205 (?)

0050087384432 (Jewel case)

One is obviously the digipak, I'm assuming the other is a cardboard sleeve?

There are likely many more UPCs that those; The US would have their own set, Europe would have their own set, etc.

To be safe, ordering this should absolutely net you a jewel case version:

https://www.billboard.com/biz/articles/8085427/billboard-200-chart-moves-star-wars-the-last-jedi-soundtrack-the-beatles

The Last Jedi OST debuts at #12 on the Billboard 200, #1 in Soundtracks. It sold 44000 units (41000 traditional album sales) in its first week of release.

By comparison, The Force Awakens debuted at #5 on the Billboard 200, selling 100000 units.

$100000000 net worth and rising!

The Amazon link that Jay provided is correct for the jewel case version of TLJ.  I ordered it from Amazon.co.uk back on 12/18 and it arrived today.  Just a comparison of the  jewel case and standard:

Does anyone know what the packaging is for the SKU with bar code 0050087377200? Is it the dreaded cardboard sleeve?

Yes, I know that, but I'm asking about the third version.

0050087377205 = digipak

0050087384432 = jewel case

0050087377200 = what exactly???

Yeah, the digipak costs about 20 pounds in my country, too for some damn reason, it was cheaper to order it from amazon with the shipping and our outrageusly high VAT included. This is that one, btw: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Last-Jedi-OST-John-Williams/dp/B0758KSWZK/ref=sr_1_2?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1516097173&sr=1-2&keywords=last+jedi

Yes, that is the one. I don't mind digipaks per se but I already have the TFA jewel case so would like to maintain consistency. Otherwise I'd need to track down the digipak of TFA which would be cost-prohibitive.

I use a local web-based importer, and they recently ended their support of Amazon UK.

Ordering directly is not an option, due to import fees, risky postal service and poor exchange rate.
