Ah man, UHF. How could I forget?

Don't you know the Dewey decimal system?!

Lesbian Nazi hookers abducted by UFOs and forced into weight-loss programs, all this week on Town Talk!

I don't think I've ever made a Top 5 comedy list, but when asked what my favourite comedy is, I tend to answer THE GODS MUST BE CRAZY, both the first and second film. I've rarely laughed as much, but it's been AGES since I saw both of them.

I cannot whittle this down to 5.  Sorry.  Here are some scattered comedies that I love.

The Naked Gun

The Big Lebowski

Wayne's World

Weekend at Bernie's

Airplane!

Trading Places

Plains, Trains and Automobiles

Mallrats

Spaceballs

Annie Hall

Groundhog Day

Office Space

How could I forget Office Space and the Kevin Smith’s? Too many great comedies in the world! It’s a shame the genre has largely turned to shit in recent years.

Maybe I'm a bad nerd, but I can't stand Weird Al.  He's like the Country Crock margarine of comedy.

You're not a bad nerd. Just a bad person!

Actually, though, I generally find his originals and "stylistic parodies" funnier and a little more biting than the parodies. But his congeniality is really the whole appeal, obviously.

I agree with Koray Savas!

One of the least deserving cult classics ever made.

But I've definitely discussed my dislike of that awful movie before.  Probably with you?  I dunno, shouldn't repeat myself though.
