Disco Stu 15,495
One of my favorite of the early rock 'n' rollers has died at the ripe old age of 89. RIP https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/obituaries/fats-domino-boogie-woogie-pianist-who-helped-launch-rock-and-roll-dies-at-89/2017/10/25/953a48ca-b98e-11e7-a908-a3470754bbb9_story.html?utm_term=.903f7ece48cb Random dumb thing: a park I like to go to has a fun bike trail called "Blueberry Hill." I always get the Fats Domino song stuck in my head when I ride that trail He also released two of my favorite Beatles covers in the late 60s It was really only appropriate that he cover "Lady Madonna" since McCartney clearly wrote it as a direct tribute to Domino's boogie woogie style.
