It's bad enough we get a hundred more of these, we don't want them to also be 9 hours long each!

Nine hours, perhaps, but only seventeen shots, which should help with the budget. And Mihály Vig doesn't need a full orchestra.

This could work just as well on Pandora!

Haha, thanks!  It was the result of a lot of good luck!

How many days did you have to stalk him for that picture?

:P

Opinions?

A more interesting question is:

Who will score Avatar 22?

I like Horner's War track

One of my favourite action track ever!

JNH being one of (if not my) favourite composer, I would be in paradise if he would score the next Avatars!

I remember when I saw he was gonna compose for Fantastic Beasts, I screamed (for a couple minutes)!

I'd want JNH or Howard Shore. Somehow I don't see Cameron going for a Zimmerite. I expect Simon Franglen.

At least the burden would be shouldered by a small army instead of one guy.

What if the score was composed by JNH and Simon Franglen together with a small army of orchestrators?

too bad for JNH, then.

He, he....for once, I agree with publicist.

Never understood the deal with Franglen. I think THE MAG 7 is rather lackluster (I can clearly hear where Franglen goes off from the Horner), and while I absolutely loved VOYAGE OF TIME (the movie), I can't really remember anything other than the existing, classical music.

That being said, I know he has a long background as a synth programmer, and has even worked with JNH before (SPACE JAM), so that could perhaps be interesting for the more electronically driven parts of the score.

Ludvig Gorranson.  Some guy at FSM suggested him and he seems like a really perfect choice.  He has a fresh musical voice, great choral writing, and has proven he can pull off a diverse yet cohesive blend of different styles (Black Panther was the bomb).

Or Hans Zimmer, but only if he's involved with the entire score (ie not a Planet Earth 2 situation).

Harry Gregson Williams would be a good choice too.

I'd be up for that! Black Panther had far better music than I ever dared to expect.

Very appropriate, very varied, very intelligent and many tracks that make for a great listen too.

My first choice would be JNH. Whether he'd be able to commit to all the films is another matter.

Aren't the Avatar sequels ultimately coming out as two pairs of two films each? He doesn't have to sign-in for the whole tetralogy.

At this point, who really knows when or how these sequels will come out 😅

I refuse to compose the music.

That is wise, it would be like giacchino or hanz zimmer following up Horner, Goldsmith, and Williams, always and absolutely a failure. 😉

I couldn't do it since I have no musical talent. Oh I could peck out a few notes on the accordion but James probably doesn't want the Pandora polka.
