Nah. And sound was one of that film's defining features. It won't win much else though.

Didn't we have a live comment thread every year?

Anyway, anyone catch that Zimmer commercial? It was cute.

And Kobe didn't even mention JW by name

He said "thank you John Williams for providing such an amazing piece of music," or something like that.

No?  Odd.  Was Keane on stage?

Yes, Keane and Kobe both were on stage together.

What are you talking about?  He very specifically thanked JW for a wonderful score by name, and then they showed JW in the audience.

It is a legitimately great film that deserved its win.

I wonder if the music award comes soon, or if i should go to bed.

It's a cookie-cutter kids movie about Mexican culture made by a committee of middle-aged white people.

Let's agree to disagree!

I enjoyed Coco a lot!

It was missing that extra special Pixar magic of like a Toy Story or Incredibles, but it was still pretty good!

This bit they are doing with going into the theater next door is so stupid.  This is why the show takes so long.  Cut all this crap out, all we want to see are people winning awards, original songs being performed, and relevant video montages

HAha, that movie looks weird.  I can't even figure out what the hell is going on from any of the trailers or commercials (and i never read the book)

John, care to tell me how old you are? I'm done with these new kids movies. I'm sticking to my VHS collection. Extensive and memorable. Everynight I watch a glimpse back into my childhood.

What does my age have to do with whether I enjoyed a movie or not?

Johnny boy, I am referring to the age range of the movie. Now don't get me wrong, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I am just a little disappointed at yours, that is all.

What does this even mean? That because I happen to be outside of the suggested age range of a Pixar movie, I can't enjoy it and have an opinion of my own?
