Probably not.

They would probably focus on new releases (2018 onward)

Though, If by some miracle they were to continue expansions, I wonder if they would have more money to pay fees? I don't know how this stuff works.

In the article they seem to be very determined to continue with that independant label stuff. I mean, in case they don't want to expand anything, which I doubt, Concord could sell the rights.

Well, there are many independent labels under Concord and they are reportedly quite free to do what they were doing before so it's not really awful news. Plus they seem to be a more fitting parent company for Varese given the type of music genres in their catalogue.

Does this mean anything for the Varese owned WIlliams scores?

Off the top of my head:

THE COWBOYS

EARTHQUAKE

THE EIGER SANCTION

DRACULA

HEARTBEEPS

THE RIVER

PRESUMED INNOCENT

Those are held by MCA/UMG. Varése just licensed these in the early 90's.

Of course, but given the chance, i would take a complete mellow Eiger Sanction, too (if only for the long-ish main title). Both of these were sparsely scored - and all the better for it - but these mid-70's Universal recordings always sounded so tinny/muddy.

Is there really any unreleased music from PI worthy of an expansion?

Maybe there are alternates.

I see here a B-File cue that isn't in the OST i think. (only its start)

The first thing you care about are Williams scores ownes by Varese? There are at most two scores that are left to be expanded.

well,

1) we are in jwfan

2) except for some exceptions, i'm mostly interested in Williams expansions than other composers'.

I think the main titles are unreleased, but an election night source cue and a variation on the "Family Life" cue towards the end are definitely missing.
