Faleel 5,347
Probably not. They would probably focus on new releases (2018 onward) Though, If by some miracle they were to continue expansions, I wonder if they would have more money to pay fees? I don't know how this stuff works.
Brundlefly 2,385
In the article they seem to be very determined to continue with that independant label stuff. I mean, in case they don't want to expand anything, which I doubt, Concord could sell the rights.
Richard Penna 3,687
Best case scenario: Concord decide they can't be bothered with all this 'archival' nonsense and tell Townson to sell expansion rights to the other labels to get some cash flowing. crocodile 8,012
Well, there are many independent labels under Concord and they are reportedly quite free to do what they were doing before so it's not really awful news. Plus they seem to be a more fitting parent company for Varese given the type of music genres in their catalogue. Karol
Jay 37,359
Won't really change much, maybe now that the sale's over Bob can go back to actually making Club releases happen with some regularity. Pieter Boelen

Gruesome Son of a Bitch 6,488
Dracula is the only important one. Well, Earthquake sounds a bit shit, but it's not a priority.
publicist 4,643
Of course, but given the chance, i would take a complete mellow Eiger Sanction, too (if only for the long-ish main title). Both of these were sparsely scored - and all the better for it - but these mid-70's Universal recordings always sounded so tinny/muddy.

Brundlefly 2,385
Regarding John Williams, there is nothing left for Varese to release. It's all about Goldsmith! Tons of great unreleased cues!

I think the main titles are unreleased, but an election night source cue and a variation on the "Family Life" cue towards the end are definitely missing.
