It's 17:48 here in Québec, you?

I suspect a lot of people are travelling now.

If I'd gone up tonight I'd probably still be in Victoria Station.

Traveling to a pub I hope.

They can't go sleeping right now after this amazing evening!

Nothing through speakers (obviously)

I attended two (superb) Royal Philharmonic concerts at the RAH last year. Ceiling-mounted speakers were utilized at the second one... distractingly so. It sounded like a second orchestra - very detached. Granted the event was a "Space Spectacular" with lighting and fire effects, but they overdid the sound from the speakers on every piece🙁

You called it Nick!

Regarding Raiders' March as an encore, I called it, actually.

Ps. Are we sure John Williams wasn't secretly playing the timpani tonight...?

Been looking at him during the whole concert: "hey this is john williams right there", "no it can't be", "it's him!", "naaaah"

I try really hard to participate this evening, live from my desk in front of my computer!

I have Murphy's Stout in cans and I listen to a LSO in a box.... on Spotify!

😁

So did I understand or misunderstand that the LSO was selling new JW recordings tonight?

Are you talking about Harry Potter?

This is what I listen to on Spotify currently!

I have the CD, but I listen to it on Spotify.

Strange era...

Why did I bought the CD.... 🤔

I'll take another beer while thinking about that!

I loved it! Though I did feel a bit overdressed and going over on my foot as I took my seat in Box 63 was a bit of a dampener. They did indeed play their heart out, though, which made that and putting up with London traffic worth it.

I'm rather impressed by some of the dress sense in the group photo.

Personally I never dress up for anything. I'd have been the guy in the back in the JP shirt :P

Few minutes until the « crime hour » in London... like Agatha Christie said... and not much feedback from people who attented the concert.

Are they all sleeping already?

Can't speak for others, but I've not long got back from London. They did indeed play their heart out. In spite of the last-minute refunds, the Hall was still packed, looked like every seat was filled. My personal favourites of the night were Jurassic Park, Jaws and Han Solo And The Princess.

I'd suspect everybody is still digesting the concert. It is just gone midnight here.
