Am I the only one who has 7 Home Alone albums on his music player?

I have every single one of the Home Alone and Home Alone 2 albums on my music player, although you actually need the 25th Anniversary edition of Home Alone and the LLL version of Home Alone 2. Dunno why, I guess it's just my love and admiration for these scores.

What about you?

This is me lying on the bed listening to John Williams.... :)

I've only ever owned the first LLL release if the two scores.

How much GB do you have on you player to be able to afford storing 7 Home Alone albums on it?!

Music player itself has 128 GB storage, plus 64 GB on micro SD card, for a total of 192 GB.

The first LLL release of Home Alone is good enough, but I'd say the 25th Anniversary edition is the ultimate (most complete) one.

Plus, this one also contains the pop songs, if you like those too.

I have two. The OSTs for 1 and 2. And that's quite enough for me.

But I've contemplated getting some of the sequel scores, if they're available. I've seen both 3 and 4, and seem to remember some good stuff from Nick Glennie-Smith's 3, in particular. 5 I haven't seen or heard yet.

I haven't even seen the movies 3, 4, and 5. (Yes, there are 5!)

1 and 2 are good enough for me.

The only thing I ever listen to for either score is the most recent LLL editions of each.  There's nothing on any prior versions that aren't on those, unless you care about the way he edited down and combined cues for the original OST programs

On my SD cards for my mp3 player I have those:

As far as I'm concerned, this is the minumum required to get "everything" (of course in my CD collection I have the original OST of the first movie).

What does this album contain again? I forgot.

  1. All Alone on Christmas - Darlene Love
  2. A Holly Jolly Christmas - Alan Jackson
  3. My Christmas Tree - The Fox Albert Choir
  4. Somewhere In My Memory - John Williams
  5. Silver Bells - Atlantic Starr
  6. Sleigh Ride - TLC
  7. Christmas All Over Again - Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers
  8. Please Come Home For Christmas - Southside Johnny Lyon
  9. Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas - John Williams
  10. Carol Of The Bells - John Williams
  11. Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas - Mel Tormé
  12. O Come All Ye Faithful - Lisa Fischer

Nothing if you're only in it for Williams (the tracks are all available between LLL and OSTs), but a good collection of Christmas songs used in the two movies, including ones which don't pop up on the OSTs.

I already have this. But my cover looks like this.... It's the same album, but with a different cover!

No that one contains the WONDERFUL Bette Midler interpretation. :sarcasm:

In the other hand, the only interresting thing of Home Alone Christmas, if I remember well, is an alt version of "Merry Christmas, Merry Chrismtas"... that was finally reissued in the later expansions.

Yeah, I usually don't do those myself and only make exceptions in cases like "I truly doubt Varese will ever put out Deep Blue Sea: Deluxe Edition, so I might as well".

Or because I couldn't have Randy Newman at the end of JP3.

No, but I assume I'm the only one to own five Jurassic Park CD's (soon to be six).

You mean Jurassic Park, The Lost World, Jurassic Park III, Jurassic World, etc?

This thread gave me an idea...

I have a free empty SD card... OK, I start the "John Williams FLAC WAV" Project.

I think my mp3 can play them... I will start by putting only the recent Mike Matessino expansions on it... :P

PS: There's two essential websites about John Williams. First, mine. Second, this one: http://www.mikematessino.com/projects/
