What movies are these from?

Spellbound. Which we have to thank for Jerry Goldsmith's film music career, too (and not surprisingly, since Rozsa's score clearly demonstrates the art of scoring the character's emotions rather than the visuals).

Well if we’re tossing Cuarón into the mix you may as well just post the whole film ;)

That's why I didn't post anything from BR2049.

And he was in love with Ingrid Bergman.

Yes, although there are other films where I'd understand that better. But that alone probably wouldn't have driven him to a career in film music.

Really?

This is the time of year I lust after the winter.

And I admire the artistry of the movie, and the themes. Dialogue is rather weak, though.

One of my favorite shot in a movie was this scene when I was a teenager.

Tom Cruise in All the Right Moves (1983).

And off course, he did all the right moves!

Beware NSFW

Bespin's type!

I was a teen when I fantasized over Tom Cruise!

It was a long time ago, in a gala...

Tom Cruise now, he's more machine than a man, due to plastic surgery.

Regrettably, we cannot "be", and "have been".

His face looks basically fine in a "I'm only just getting away with looking 15 years younger than I am" kind of way.  But when he takes his shirt off, the game is given away.  The 'ol "butter scraped over too much bread" look.

Yes his last surgeries gave him a little bit of his original "face". But that's all.

And he's so fucked up with all this Scientology stuff...

I'm not a fudgepacker!

I suspect this is not a very kind way to say "gay".

I posted some photos of Tom Cruise, and you felt the need to react this way?

You felt attacked in your "masculinity"? But nobody attacked you.

I must say I will not accept this kind of behavior on this forum.

Context, context. Is Blazing Saddles banned because it uses the n-word a lot?

That was 100% intended to be in a "Tom Cruise can be crazy" context, not a "gay" context, I'm truly sorry if it was too obscure and misunderstood.

Fudgepacker is still a derogatory term for homosexuals, Jason.

Of course I know that.  Holko was not calling Tom Cruise a fudgepacker, he was quoting South Park.

Again, he included the video in his post you can watch that explains the reference.

To be honest, I did include the video only after Bespin pushed the "confused" emoji, and his comment arrived afterwards.

Wait, after you saw his post, you went back and edited a previous post, knowing he'd never see it, instead of replying to his post with the video explanation?  Not very smart.

He reacted with a "confused" emoji; I posted the video which got merged into there when I realised it's quite obscure; a few seconds later the first sentence of his reply arrived. Then sometime after that he edited in the later sentences which I only saw now, during which he had the possibiity to see the video. Maybe I should have tagged him with the @.

Sounds vaguely familiar.
