What is the instrumentation at the beginning of this CD track (#6)?

I can't figure it all out. Obviously there are strings, but what is that bell-like sound? Electric Piano? Glass Harmonica? Wine Glass? Effected Bells? Synthesizer? Mellotron?

I haven't a clue. I can't figure it out because the sound has no attack (for those less technical, it means that the sound sort of fades in, the exact opposite of a brass attack).

is that what it is? I just wanted to be sure!

(Note I listed electric piano as one of the things I thought it could be!).

Jsawruk,

WHERE in the Lehigh Valley are you? That was my Tatooine.

Figo, reflecting on a more civilized age. (Or perhaps I should say less?)

On second hearing, I once again do not feel confident to say that the instrument in the beginning is indeed a rhodes.

I hear the rhodes at 1:00 into the piece for sure, where it plays the theme. But I am just unsure if this is the same instrument as the one at the beginning for it seems to have a different timbre, which a rhodes cannot have far as i know.

On a side note, what is the instrument that plays the melody for Jabba's Baroque Recital? Is it simply a sine wave? (the harpsichord has accomp only).
