Are you hearing consistent high pitched clicks regularly or just random ones only sometimes?  Only during quiet parts?

Both, it really sounds like numeric clicks or static noise originating from mastering.

 

I've encoded my CD twice using EAC, to make sure the problem was not on my side!

I just listened to the first track turned way up on headphones.  I heard a little bit of static around 2:18 but nothing else in the entire track.  Nothing I can’t (and have been apparently) ignore if I’m focusing on the performance.

If I remember well, E.T. Is the worst track, and that’s in a quiet passage. Several successive clicks.

I've just listened to the tracks on Spotify and they have the same annoying clicks.

 

So I will try to remove them digitally... I will let you know if I succeed!

 

EDIT: the software I use can't declick automatically those recordings.

 

So I've just removed this album from my website.  That's crap, don't buy this CD.

Is this currently the best recording available of this version with the concert ending?

Or is there another?

If you don't mind the live recording and the audience clapping in the end, it's an official release of the orchestral version with "louder" coda.
