The original album is out of print, the expanded album as well... Plus they did expand one score more than once - The Omen had a DE and then the 40th anniversary set two years ago. I believe it is confirmed that the scoring tapes are gone - they were done in France, and I believe there was a search for the tapes in 2003 that proved fruitless. Or maybe the music stems for the film could be used if not pre-mixed. Tadlow tried to do a Kickstarted in 2015 to fund re-recording the music. However, the Bond rights holders (presumably it was the EON folks) threatened suit, and the KS was stopped before it was completed - despite the 30K goal being reached in just 10 days out of the 30 days it would have stayed open. Trivia: Moonraker is the only James Bond movie soundtrack to not include the James Bond theme on the album. (Not including the non-Brocolli Never Say Never Again or the 60's Casino Royale.)
