Dracula Cinderella Liberty Memories of A Geisha: Sayuri's Theme Memoirs Of A Geisha: The Chairman's Waltz Schindler's List Tintin (I'm assuming The Duel) Harry Potter: Hedwig's Theme Munich (Her hashtag may refer to the city, not the score) Across The Stars Luke & Leia Rey's Theme Princes Leia's Theme Yoda's Theme (Arranged by Ann-Sophie Mutter)

I think we have to wait until September, but I'm not certain of that. And here are the hashtags from her recent post. Each Star Wars film is mentioned if that means anything. Anakin's Theme, too perhaps and pieces from Revenge of the Sith and The Last Jedi maybe? I sure hope Han Solo and the Princess is on the set list. Popular Post Tom 4,633
For whatever reason, this project did not excite me when it was announced. If anything, I thought it was time Williams would not be using for new compositions. However, after hearing the unexpected reworking of AtS and the care Williams seems to be putting into all of this, it could be a very striking, artful collection of a mature, reflective Williams looking back on 45 years of compositions. aviazn, Incanus, rpvee and 2 others

Popular Post crumbs 14,300
It's kind of weird to think how close Williams and Spielberg work to each other, yet Spielberg won't have another score with John for over 2 years from now (and their last collaboration was over a year ago). In his position I'd be churning out multiple small scale dramas that Williams could score in a few weeks before wasting my energy on a 5th Indiana Jones film. His dramatic work is so richly rewarding with ruminative texture at this phase of his career, as evidenced by these new arrangements. These days, not much since as I understand it they’re both production labels under Amblin Partners. In its heyday DreamWorks was a movie studio with all the usual Hollywood assets, owning studio facilities, equipment, means for distribution/marketing. Amblin is an independent production company hired by studios to deal with the actual making of movies i.e. producing. So in the late 90s/2000s Spielberg was essentially making movies through Amblin for DreamWorks (as opposed to Universal, Paramount, Warner Bros in the 80s) Ultimately DreamWorks couldn’t compete, came close to bankruptcy, had to restructure, sell its assets etc. It’s not a movie studio anymore but basically a brand, I think. Spielberg uses either DreamWorks for producing “mature” films or Amblin for “family” films under the same parent. Anyway, Amblin’s offices are located at Universal Studios (I assume Spielberg rents the space?) and includes John Williams HQ, regardless of whether he’s actually working for Amblin or Universal. jocores 96
Someone correct if I'm wrong but Spielberg's offices are located at Universal Studios as part of an agreement for his productions to be a part of Universal Studios Theme Park. If I remember correctly he agreement included big revenues and that Spielberg's office would remain at Universal.
