This is the one that needed expansion the most. :)

That's what I was getting at in another thread. TND has already got a boot (near complete?). This one needs expanding more.

I'll have to take a look at the film again and remind myself of what's missing. I seem to remember some music in the submarine being interesting years ago.

Most of the Bond scores are must buys although I found the electronics to be a bit overbearing in this score at times.

But still a welcom edition and features one of the better post 80 Bond songs.

YES!

Oh yes!

David Arnold from 20 years ago is still miles ahead of that Newman trash.

Newman's Bond scores are great! I like Arnold's Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace which are great scores but not really his older ones... I would really like LLL to release the John Barry Bond scores though!

I love Thomas Newman and I don’t enjoy his Bond scores even a little bit.  Completely ill-suited to the material.  But I also think the same of hiring Sam Mendes so take my opinion with that in mind.  Not on board for their take on the world of that character.

He should make sure the villains feel they’re in a safe space and hash out their issues through counseling.

 So Clark Kent?

Wow. Awesome. Strangely enough this is one of my last holy grails I believe, with maybe A View to a Kill and Golden Gun left. I practically wore the original album out during High School, and always desperately wanted two cues in particular (Out of the Snow and Stay with Me).  It's funny how I used to drink up the bombast of cues like Submarine but now I prefer a more streamlined approach. Still, it all holds a soft-spot for me and Elektra's Theme is wonderful.

I like the movie more than the other Brosnans and the score is therefore more in my memory. Elektra's material is indeed really nice.

I've been listening to the OST on YT and it's good stuff. I'm sure I'll recognise more music when I hear the full score.
