The Matrix for both.

Edit: I love all three scores for the Matrix trilogy.  I'm glad the Wachowski brothers brought Don back for the sequels.  It wouldn't have been the same with any other composer if they reused the themes.

I don't know, I think this is one of the most interesting polls JWFan's had in a while.


I prefer Inception as a film, but the two are real close for me. As for the scores, they're practically tied in my estimation, though I definitely play Inception a bit more.

Film: The Matrix = Inception to the Inceptionth power, where Inception is great.


Score: The Matrix. The best part of the whole score imo was 0:51 - 0:55. It helps to be in the movie though, rather than just watch this scene. Sometimes the best parts of a score are its later scenes, because you already have so much film context attached to those moments.
