Coincidentally I watched the first half of Fury Road before I had to go to bed last night.  I probably agree with them.

But no Grand Budapest or Moonrise Kingdom (pick one)?  Come on guys.

I absolutely agree with #1

That means you could agree with the rest of the list too, if only you have seen them.

Inside Lleweyn Davis is probably my favourite on the list.

*awkward, deafening silence*

.....

I don't see a lot of money here.

I mean, its very good.

But is it "best of the decade" good? I dunno.

It's also the first franchise film to cause "fans" to object to it's feminist/SJW/progesssive tones. Looking at it now it was actually a trailblazer.

easily the best film of the tens

Just realized that F. Murray Abraham is in two of my favorites of the decade: Inside Llewyn Davis and The Grand Budapest Hotel (although I'd still probably rate Moonrise Kingdom higher).

What a great actor!

Uh, Twin Peaks Season 3 a movie?

Yes!  This was David Lynch's intention!

It was also on both my and Thor's top 10s for that year.

What is?

Good question! Right now, I can only think of 2 movies that really absorbed me and those are Jagten and Prisoners. I still haven't rewatched them to see if I still like them though. I mean, were they about moral exploration or moral exploitation?

I've seen all of them. Some great ones that deserve to be on the list, some fine ones that nonetheless do not, and some I don't care for at all and that have no place there.

While MAD MAX: FURY ROAD is a brilliant film -- certainly one of the best that year -- I wouldn't go so far as to call it the best of the entire decade.

There are some very fine movies on this list. Mad Max wouldn't be my pick, but it's a pretty fair survey of the decade.

Out of the movies on this list, the only ones I've seen so far are:

1) Mad Max: Fury Road - George Miller
4) Boyhood - Richard Linklater
5) The Social Network - David Fincher

10) Get Out - Jordan Peele
11) Under the Skin - Jonathan Glazer
12) Carol - Todd Haynes
16) Twin Peaks : The Return - David Lynch
17) Her - Spike Jonze
20) Inception - Christopher Nolan en Holy Motors - Leos Carax

And I liked all those movies, but only LOVED Fury Road, Boyhood, Under The Skin, Carol, and Her.

Inception was a fun heist movie but not anything remotely special or top 10 worthy.  I liked Interstellar more.  The Social Network is fine but kinda forgettable.  Twin Peaks I don't think of as a movie, I don't care what David Lynch wants me to think. Get Out was good!

Movies from the 2010s I really enjoyed that didn't make this list:

BLUE RUIN

HELL OR HIGH WATER

PRISONERS

WILD TALES (RELATOS SALVAJES)

LOCKE

GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO (Fincher)

SICARIO

The Wind Rises

Gravity

Compliance

Nightcrawler

Arrival

The Hunt (Jagten)

Edge of Tomorrow

Life of Pi
Blue is the Warmest Color

I Don't Feel At Home In This World Anymore

Passion

Room

The Revenant

The Big Short

Moonrise Kingdom

Grand Budapest Hotel

Blade Runner 2049

Three Billboards

Bilbo and I are the Brooklyn stans here.  It’s a perfect movie!  For what it is.

We’ee not stans. We’re goddamn right so we are.

What is a “stan”? I’m always seeing that term tossed around on social media and I still don’t know what it means.

Didnt you keep an exhaustive list of how many times you watched films?

Incorrect. I've made a list of how many films I've seen over my lifetime so far, but it doesn't include any meta info like release dates. It's just a really long alphabetical list, and I don't feel like reading through it.

I have made other lists of how many films I've seen per actor. Surprisingly Sylvester Stallone and Samuel L. Jackson top the list at 32 films each. And another list of which films I saw in the cinema, which came to about 215 I think.

To be a stan is to be a big fan of something.  To "stan" something (as a verb) is to evangelize for it.

It comes from the Eminem song.

I haven't seen Prisoners, but Jagten is excellent. (I don't see it as being guilty of moral exploitation, if that was your meaning...)

Wow, that seems like a very low success rate (even if there are some more that you didn't recall off the top of your head)! I would stop watching new films if I was finding them unabsorbing. I'm sure I could name more than one hundred films from this decade that I thought were awesome...

I Googled it and got pictures of Laurel and Hardy.

Jeebers, 2008! I didn't realise that I was that out of touch...

Once a slang word has been added to the OED, it's officially not cool anymore ;)
