soundwave 0
With all the different score presentation commercial releases, which Return if the Jedi score release sounds the best?
Jurassic Shark 12,051
The original release of the OST.
Holko 9,515
The new 2018 "demaster" isn't bad either, at least compared to the other ones.
crumbs 14,306
The 2018 Disney demaster is probably the best. Followed by the 2016 Sony. Then the 1993 Anthology expansions. Then the 1997 SE. Never listened to a rip of the very original OST release, so no idea what that was like sonically. Ironically, the sound quality decreases in tandem with the addition of any extra music, with the OST masters sounding the best, and the "complete" SE sounding downright awful. 1977 1,743
Unfortunately the OST does not do justice to the scope of this score, so for me the best compromise between sound quality and presentation is the 93 Anthology release. Unlucky Bastard 7,782
The OST is Williams' attempt to create a symphony for the concert hall, not to appease your neurotic fanboy cravings! 1977 and Gruesome Son of a Bitch 1
Gruesome Son of a Bitch 6,488
The original CD release of the ROTJ OST is one of the best-sounding Williams scores ever. Unlucky Bastard

Didn't he write a symphony in the 70's? By the way, nice to meet you, The Original. I really enjoy being insulted for no reason whatsoever by someone I don't know.
