The original recording with the LSO is much better in my opinion.I did notice that a lot of the brass perfromances are squeky. The original recording with the LSO is much better in my opinion.I love all of the other Gerhardt recordings (Williams and non-Williams), but I'm still not sure about his take on ESB. Sounds a bit amateurish to my ears. But perhaps I have to listen to it more often and get used to it.(And I still think the Skywalker Symphony Orchestra album is excellent).Marian - who prefers Gerhardt's recordings of the other two scores.
