I am looking for the lyrics of the song Penelope by the Pennypipers.

I know that this album is pretty hard to find, but has been recently released on CD by Chapter III records.

So, if somebody can help me, he is welcome :)

Thanx !

Who is penelope?

Picture a girl who walks with the rhythm of a lady tiger

Picture a girl who talks with the sweetness of a honey bee

Picture a girl your mind could never dismiss

This is penelope

This is penelope

(penelope)

The day the angel-makers planned her, she set the universe abuzz

There is no way to understand her; am I the only one who does?

Who is penelope?

Picture a girl whose life is as crazy as a mad magician

Picture a girl whose heart is elusive as a bird is free

Picture a girl who's your consention* on bliss

This is penelope

Gotta love those lyrics ... Eminem, eat your heart out!

*[ My Opinion: consention is an archaic form of consent, meaning an agreement in sentiment ]

Mmm, I like it a little, but I prefer the excellent song Guide for the Married Man performed by the Turtles !

:) Guide for the Married Man (in my head, it is still forbidden at work ).

sweet mother, I know EXACTLY what you mean. I was just kidding about the great lyrics. However, I do just love listening to innocent lyrics from yesteryear. They're such a stark contrast to the explicit lyrics you hear nowadays. And I don't mean necessarily sexual, but even innuendo.

Oddly enough, I've come to listen to old show-tunes like Music Man and Grease with a new ear, noticing how heavily laden they are with innuendo and questionable themes.

But I love those old-time lyrics!

Thank you very much

ROTFLMAO  absolutely nothing, it is forbidden at work (too stupid, isn't it ! )

That's absolutely awful! I can't imagine not being able to listen to music at work. It's what keeps me awake!
