King Mark 3,626 Posted June 9, 2002 Share Posted June 9, 2002 Yes Williams composed meet the press.Apart the Conset arrangement of the NBC news theme,the original music Williams composed and conducted in 1985 consisted of 4 separate short 2 minute or so segments:1-The Mission Theme(NBC news main theme)2-Scherzo for Today.3-Fugue for the Changing Times(Became Meet the Press)4-And another...the title eludes me right now.He also did 9 bumpers and short 30 sec segment variations of the main theme.The rest of all NBC news music is based onilliams material but re-arranged by other composers.K.M.
