Since The Empire Strikes Back is the next longest Star Wars score, I decided to go ahead and do it, as well.

1. Wampa's Lair--Luke reaching for lightsaber

2. Vision of Obi-Wan--"You must go to the Dagobah System"

3. Battle of Hoth--Retreat

4. Arrival on Dagobah--Before "I feel like..." "Like what?"

5. Jedi Master Revealed--"I cannot teach him..."

6. Jedi Master Revealed--"Ben...tell him I'm ready!"

7. Training of a Jedi Knight--uncut flute/oboe combo

8. Yoda and the Force--"...for my ally is the Force."

9. City in the Clouds--Luke is lifting rocks, R2, and Yoda

10. Lando's Palace--"You don't know that. Even Yoda cannot see their fate!"

11. Lando's Palace--"Patience!"

12. Carbon Freezing Chamber--Climbing the hoses (cut)

13. Rescue from Cloud City--"Leia!" (Luke hanging upside down on vane)

14. Rebel Fleet--Close up of Falcon

15. Rebel Fleet--Oboe/flute variation as Luke's new hand is poked

16. Rebel Fleet--Same combo, no variation as Luke gets up to join Leia

My favorites are 1, 5, 6, 8, 10, 11, 12, 15, and 16.

Wait a minute...I think you might be right, now that I think about it more. When I did the list, I skipped "Imperial Attack", because I thought FOR SURE the Force theme wouldn't be in it.

Don't things like this usually go on the site, Ricard?

Yes. Thanks a lot for posting it. I'll save it on my HD and I'll add it to the upcoming SW section as soon as it's ready. Will you post the list for the other three movies?

also, unless you meant this as part of number 11, isn't it used during the jump to hyperspace? "navigating through hyperspace ain't like dusting crops, boy!"

this is a great mental game, being at work without my CDs and trying to think of all the places it appears ...

"everybody must get stoned"

For a presentation in music class last year, where I did a project on John Williams, I created a Medley of occurances of the Force Theme from all 4 films (to that date) to showcase Williams's use of the Leitmotiv technique, so I picked several spots where the Force theme was presented in as different a guise as possible. If anyone's interested, I could make an mp3 of it

-Chris, who was very satisfied when he played first the Imperial March and then Anakin's theme to the class an heard some gasps at the end of the latter ;)

You know...you're right...again.  I was pretty sure somebody would come along and point out spots I missed.

it's always easier to do the proofreading than to write the report ...

and chris, i for one would be interested in an mp3 of your medley ...
