My Ask the Jedi Council Question:

ST-321

Recommended Posts

Here's what I sent to the Ask the Jedi Council section at Star Wars.com:

"Why is the Main Title for Attack of the Clones exactly the same recording (for the first 1:40) as the one used for Phantom Menace?

Was a new one recorded and rejected for Attack of the Clones?"

Gee, do you think I'll get an answer???

I seriously doubt you'll get an answer... None of my questions have been answered, and I dont think they know anything about the music!

"For a sound designer, why does Ben Burtt have no sense of hearing?"

That's not exactly fair. His earlier stuff was amazing. Now if you asked, "For an editor, why does Ben Burtt have no sense of pace?" then I'd agree.

ok.......let's see if this does it......

1) go to www.globaldesk.com and login as user: saxman717 password: jwfan

2) once you're at the inbox, you should see all the files there, right click and save them, and you should be good to go!

Get them while they're hot, tho, 'cause this stingy account expires in 4 days

Hope it works now, sorry about all the technical trouble....never posted any files before :-P

I used a music editor, and overlapped the two "recordings", and they both matched perfectly, so they have to be the same recording in order to play the exact same way.

I just asked Ben Burtt, "Did John Williams compose any music for the final battle? If so, was it rejected, or did it relfect an older cut of the movie?"

I doubt I'll EVER get an answer!
