Steven Awalt 0 Posted June 18, 2002 Share Posted June 18, 2002 I'd give the score an A, but I have to say (and I've only heard it 1 time straight through so far), that as a listening experience, it's not extremely melodic, just like Spielberg said. Does that make it bad? Not at all, as there is some really complex, detailed music--it's just not an easy listen for me yet. Like Lost World was the first few times I heard it.I bet on Friday though, the genius of the score will be revealed when I see the music married to the images.
