INDY-Pendence Day on AMC

Just a reminder to any who are interested that there will be a marathon of "Raiders of the Lost Ark" and "Temple of Doom" on July 4 on AMC starting at 11:30am. And the name of the marathon really is "INDY-pendence Day" by the way.

Yeah, but that costs $$$ and I believe AMC runs without commercials (except between movies when there's a fairly substantial break).

Wrong! AMC is now running commercials during the films and are not always showing the films in the correct aspect ratio. They suck. Turner Classic Movies rules!

No, but we do have Turner Classic Movies, Encore, Fox Classics and Movie Greats Hehe, American Movie Classics..... I guess they don't air many British films

And running commercials during films? hehe, only free to air tv stations do that here.

Not only are the commercials in mid-movie a pain, but they don't show Three Stooges every night at 7 like they used to! :evil:

I know that AMC does show commercials during movies, but not that often. And it rarely shows commercials during shows either.
