H2OProof 2 Posted May 14, 2005 Posted May 14, 2005 Have you ever been so moved by a piece of music that it actually brought tears to your eyes? John Williams music frequently has had this affect on me.One piece that stands out in my memory is "E.T. and Me" from the original 1982 album. I remember welling up with that one on a few occations. Yes, I'm a sentimental fool.

JWFAN4LIFE 0 Posted May 17, 2005 Posted May 17, 2005 The main theme from Schindler's ListThe main theme from Saving Private RyanA window to the past from HP:POAAcross the stars from SW EPII: AOCThat is just a short list, I know there are many more. I have to say, hearing The Schindler's list them live (performed by Perlman) and Across the stars, gave me goose bumps and brought me to tears.
ChrisAfonso 237 Posted May 20, 2005 Posted May 20, 2005 The combination of music and images during Padmé's funeral made me teary-eyed... I hope that music gets released. :/
batmanand 0 Posted May 20, 2005 Posted May 20, 2005 Remembrances from Schindler's List always makes me well up inside (although being Jewish that could not totally to do with the music)
ChrisAfonso 237 Posted May 21, 2005 Posted May 21, 2005 Don't forget "Immolation", and a very special one: "Auschwitz-Birkenau". How Williams can create such deep emotions with such minimal means just escapes me (of course, Perlman had a hand in that, too)
movieman101 0 Posted May 21, 2005 Posted May 21, 2005 "I Could Have Done More" - Schindler's List"Reunion" - A.I.How bout a few non-williams scores? Maybe a change of pace, but there are quite a few that come to mind for me......"End Credits" - Glory and Braveheart"Crucifixion" - Passion of the Christ"The Grey Havens" - LOTR: ROTK
