Dean1700 5 Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 Who is this "dropkick" that keeps putting "llll" as his replies? All 50 of his replies to different topics have been this.
nightscape94 968 Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 They weren't his original posts. He had many polls and replies that were actual sentences and paragraphs, but he subsequently edited them all to reflect that same "llll". I couldn't tell you why.Tim
Lurker 5 Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 I think Joe scared him off and he has thus edited all 50 of his posts.Neil
JoeinAR 1,957 Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 yep, I'm real scary, especially after I compliment him, but I notice he deleted his name and then his posts started changing into||||
Justin 2 Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 An interesting tidbit on the Roman Numeral IIII.If "IIII" is a reference to time perhaps it's a countdown. For example, Ledzo joined on November 5th and posted exactly 50 posts. He edits all his posts to the Roman Numeral IIII. IIII instead of IV is only used in regards to time. All his posts were made between the dates of November 6th and November 9th. A period of 3 days.50 Posts times the Roman Numeral IIII is 200.In the "I-VI, IV-III? Other?" thread Ledzo probably voted for "Other" option, meaning that he watches the SW movies VIIIIIIIIIIOH MY GOD!!!! Justin
JoeinAR 1,957 Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 that or he was speculating on the end of the world whic means that if November 9 is |||and Nov. 10 is ||, then Nov. 11 is |OH MY GOD!!!! its the end of the worldor maybe not.

Ledzo 0 Posted November 13, 2005 Posted November 13, 2005 Now that there is a thread about me, I've decided to explain myself. This will be my final post - so don't ask me anything afterwards.Three days ago, I received the first of what has been six emails from someone (I've been checking people's adresses and haven't found a match). They would quote various posts of mine and then proceed to attack me personally in an often vulgar fashion. It has been quite disturbing. I don't know who has been sending them - and I accuse no one. And to respond to whoever conjectured my absence here: no, Joe did not scare me off - I've never felt intimidated by anyone on the board.I realize it as irrational now, but I decided to erase my writings in hope of preventing another email. And after one mocking me for it, they did stop coming afterwards. When you edit a post, you still have to type something to submit it, and four 'L's were something I randomly did the first time and it stuck. Goofy, huh?And considering that I've only officially been a member for a short time, deciding to leave has no real effect on my life. Though I have changed my email address, considering that I was unhappy with my service anyway, this was no problem. For what it's worth, this does not stand as a reflection on anybody else on the board in my eyes. All the people who have been a part of the threads I was in seem like nice people who'd be engaging to meet. Some lone individual out there is very sick, and they are the only one I have a problem with. I think the administrators here run a very good site - but like any administrators, they can't control the nature of its members. There's so much I want to do with life that it's such a waste to be worrying over how someone will respond to a message board post I write. So I'm bowing out.May you all have many wonderful years of listening to John Williams ahead of you!And in closing, the only thing left to say is: llll 8O Ledzo
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,386 Posted November 13, 2005 Posted November 13, 2005 So...you have have bowed down to treats? It's only the Internet, it's not like it's about real people, what are you worried about?
Lurker 5 Posted November 13, 2005 Posted November 13, 2005 Well that post throws Justin's theory completely out of wack!Neil
Justin 2 Posted November 13, 2005 Posted November 13, 2005 Well that post throws Justin's theory completely out of wack!Well as it wasn't "I's" that he was posting but rather "l's"...l is the Roman Numeral for 50 which is his post count and....well now his post count is 51 and.......I've got nothing. 8OJustin
Justin 2 Posted November 13, 2005 Posted November 13, 2005 BTW, if you google "llll" the first result is ubernet.com. Neat huh?Justin
Orson 1 Posted November 13, 2005 Posted November 13, 2005 So...you have have bowed down to treats? The poor guy bares his soul and you equate him with the actions of a dog. My dear man, do your lows have no boundaries? 8O

Orson 1 Posted November 13, 2005 Posted November 13, 2005 I can certainly picture him writing something like that.

nightscape94 968 Posted November 13, 2005 Posted November 13, 2005 I've never heard of something like that on this board. Why don't you just delete the e-mails and just keep posting? Who cares what that person says. That's a shame that someone would stoop so low to do something like that on the side.Tim
