What do you wish for 2006?

- Italy wins the World Cup (last time we won it was the year before I saw the light of the world )

- Inter wins the national championship and the Champions League (so the first means Juventus to lose yeah)

- Have fun in life

- Have fun on all the boards I'm in

- Listen to good music, hopefully some new Williams' score or other composers highlight

- Have a great summer holiday (still have to decide the destination, could be California or Spain or everything else out of Italy, we wanna go far)

- Have a great Christmas/New Year holiday in New York City (this year's vacation got screwed)

- Hope again that it's gonna be the last year waiting for Indy IV

- Find a girlfriend

- Stay alive and well

Stefan, Italy is possibly (with France) the best nation in Europe. We have the potential to play a good football, but right now there are too many young players, who probably are more interested in the money than the actual victory. Sad but true.

Of course Brasil will win. They were unbelieavable in 2002, now they have the same team + Adriano, which is one of the best (and he have the luck of playing in the best club possible).

And it's much more probably to have all the 100% complete scores of every composer ever existed and have another 5 Indiana Jones sequels and 3 more Star Wars trilogies rather than peace.

It's like asking to fix the debts of all the countries of the Third World, while we prefer to waste money in wars.

I'll second all of those. (Sorry folks, but I don't give a flying Ewok about sports.)

CDs: Here's hoping for complete SW prequel releases (so that the prequel friends may rejoice), some complete Indy releases, and some Williams stuff from the Varèse Club. I would mention the LOTR releases, but we already know they're coming.

Movies: Superman. I just pray that Bryan Singer doesn't let me down. I hope he stays true to the Donner universe. And I hope the cast is good. I have great faith in Spacey, but the rest I'm still unsure about.

Casino Royale. Oh, boy. So many good things going for it (Daivd Arnold, Martin Campbell, Judi Dench, Ian Fleming). But...it's got a lot of things against it in my book (no Q, no Moneypenny, NO BROSNAN; not to mention the whole prequel idea). The good news is that Bond franchise has hit bottom with Die Another Day (and arguably a few other times before); so it can only go up from here (I hope, anyway).

I feel I should merely mention the wishes related to John Williams scores.

I do wish that Telarc would soon release the all-Star Wars album by Kunzel and the Cincinnati Pops that was discussed earlier in September. Here's hoping that it will contain all the important concert suites from the saga, including the original, unexpurgated version of Across the Stars. I do wish that I could seek Kunzel's autograph on this CD.

I do wish that we would receive news for a major STAR WARS soundtrack restoration project that can be released for the 30th anniversary of STAR WARS.

I wish that time would fly fast before film music buffs can order the complete boxed sets of the Two Towers and Returm of the King soundtracks, since we know that Warner will be releasing these over the course of this year.
