I don't know if this has been mentioned here or not.

It's a really interesting show that just opened at Universal Orlando. It consists of memorable movie clips projected onto 3 large globes in the lagoon, with fireworks and laser effects. It has a nice medley of memorable scores! I think some composer/arranger took all the themes (many JW scores included) and wrote out an arrangement. Listen for the interesting transition from Jurassic Park to ET!

Christ, I didn't think those people would shut up.

EDIT: No offense to anyone who knows those people.

I got there late... and I heard only the ending of it with the rex from JP roaring... I wasn't really that interested...

It starts at 9... the park closes at 10... so... there's no closing fireworks... it's like...a pre-closing show... it's dumb if you ask me.

And wasn't that good.

THey're just big inflatable movie-screen balls sitting in the middle of the lagoon that have projectors in them to project two images that connect at the edges... I'll have to get there earlier and watch the whole thing... maybe bring my digital recorder...lol

That a pretty big file to load or download how long it is it??

I think it's boring now that I've gotten to see this video. I enjoyed the old show better. And the old one used original recordings... not this... synth/chamber group

So now we going see movies in 360° in theatres or what?

Posted

Maybe 3D.. but not 360.

It is almost reminicient of a drive in theatre...there would be a novelty to bring back.

but not on a round screen.

There's a kid singing Goldsmith. Sweet. :P

I didn't watch it all. That might be a cool montage to watch, but only if I could just watch it on a proper screen, instead of taped off these weird balls that screw up the image.

They'er big, round, inflatable balls that have projectors in them. The image is projected onto the screen twice, and the edges meet. it's kinda weird.

The image is extreamly distorted.

LOL I know, and one person kept going on after everyone else had quieted down!

Nobody knows those people. I didn't even film this, I just found it online.

Alright, I just didn't want to offend if they were your kids or anything.
