Trent B 354 Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Here's my desktop...The ocean picture I took myself last year when I was in Lincoln City, Oregon.
John Crichton 4 Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 My desktop is currently the Hyperspace pic of Williams sitting at the head of the LSO from the Ep. III recording sessions. I usually have a pretty good desktop wallpaper rotation, but I've been stuck in a rut ever since I got my new computer, that's the only one I've had. Kinda like my signature here since I came back...
Damo 0 Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 HAHAHAHAHAHAHACheck out the Intel Mac 17inch widescreen. This is full size image. It soo big and wide. (1440 x 900 pixel) EDIT: It doesn't seem to be at full size....
Ollie 1,375 Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Right now I have some picture that came with the computer. It's called "Feather Texture".
pi 0 Posted August 7, 2006 Author Posted August 7, 2006 I have my display on thousands of colors, to aid my processor for Audio apps.
Richard P 5,302 Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 My desktop has a really nice photo taken by my dad, at Arches National Park in Utah. One of my favourite places in the world And I don't use desktop icons much - I prefer start menu and quick launch.Click the image for a full version.

I to don't use desktop icons, I hate having the desktop cluttered with icons, it looks...messy when you have a ton of icons on the desktop. I also use the start menu or quick launch but mostly quick launch.
Greg1138 3 Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 I have one of the default Windows wallpapers......the Stonehenge one........and I don't have any desktop icons at all (other than Recycle Bin) - prefer things neat and tidy......
King Mark 3,975 Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 I took screen grab of mothership arrival in CE3K over the devil tower.K.M.
Elmo Lewis 7 Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 There's a contradiction in there. In what world do the terms "housewives" and "sexually tempting" go together?Oh right, in a world where Eva Longoria can pass off as a housewife.
Jill Sandwich 11,165 Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 Sorry, I didn't actually read what was written on the wallpaper.
John McClane 1 Posted August 19, 2006 Posted August 19, 2006 I actually have the "Mittens, Monument Valley, Arizona" from this wonderful website. Now that's a great image resolution, people!I used the Golden Gate bridge one before, but now I can put the one I made, you know. I also made the almost identical San Diego Balboa Park photo too.Mirko - who was a bit disappointed by San Diego.
Marian Schedenig 11,694 Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 That means that you're probably not allowed to post a screenshot of your desktop on this site for general viewing.Marian - dragging the free software debate also into this thread.
John McClane 1 Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 That means that you're probably not allowed to post a screenshot of your desktop on this site for general viewing.Nope, I can easily resize them and create a thumbnail. With a freeware, of course.
Richard P 5,302 Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 Dammit, they would be so perfect for my widescreen monitor...which used to be on my Internet PC at work, and now isn't.I have to heavily crop them to fit them on this normal one which kinda ruins it
John McClane 1 Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 I just use the 1920x961 one in my 1280x1024 resolution. Without being distorted, it's only a bit cut in both sides, but the two monuments are right there at their place.
