KittBash 361 Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 I've been mulling over getting tickets to Tanglewood film night this year (I've never been) and I can't decide if I should buy the tickets or not... Right now the only double seats still available are back in section 12 mid way through... It's an 11 hour drive from where I live to get there and money doesn't grow on trees... So I was hoping some of you who have been before might be able to tell me if even if I can't see much other then the screens is it still worth the trip to go or should I wait till next year and jump on tickets early? Thanks! Jmoss
Trent Hoyt 13 Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 I have only been to Symphony Hall. My aunt and uncle go to Tanglewood all the time and they seem to enjoy it.
KingPin 247 Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 If you're more interested in the music and less about the scenery, then it's worth it to go, but in my opinion, only if you're going to be in the actual music shed with real seats. Otherwise, if you're planning on getting lawn tickets, it's not worth it. Too much noise - people chatting through the music, babies crying - plus if it starts raining...
KittBash 361 Posted March 13, 2010 Author Posted March 13, 2010 Well I got tickets to go... may not be the best seats but hey at least I finally get to hear and maybe see John Williams in person!
