With a desktop PC, an iPhone and an Samsung Galaxy Tablet (Android), there are now many way I view the MB.

It's quite bewildering at times, actually.

Still haven't found one for either my phone or tablet that I'm 100% satisfied with.

The Tapatalk apps are the ones I use the most though. But since I got the new versions (Tapatalk2 and Tapatalk HD) Only this week, I still gotta get used to them.

The IPB app for iPhone is pretty crummy. I can't even read my PM's with it

Mercury Browser is great for accessing the editing tools. It's a bloody good browser actually.

I probably ended up mastering the browser view of the forum purely because it's one of about four websites I obsessively check on rotation throughout the day. Opening an app in between to post inane crap here only slowed me down.

The full fat browsing experience will always be best, and yet it's being abandoned all around us. People seem to prefer convenience over elegance.

Actual browsing on iPad blows desktop away, it ain't even close. But contributing to the web is still superior and just easier on desktop. I find posting online with an iPad decent and perfectly adequate, but the quirks of touch interfacing and its software in terms of design still need to be ironed out and innovated on before it can hope to match keyboard and mouse.

The closest I can get to nippy results with editing on a handheld gadget is on an Android device. The OS has has pulled ahead of iOS in that regard for me. Simple, rudimentary tools such as copy/paste are a breeze on Android where on iOS it's still a bloody nuisance.

IPBoard 3.4 is out now, and is supposed to feature improved post editing capabilities, hopefully it solves a lot of long-standing complaints.

Steef, you should try forcing Desktop view when on your Android tablet, I think it works great.

Not available yet in my country

I tried that, but for some reason it loads very sluggish on my tablet.

Sorry, I meant that Andreas needs to upgrade JWFan from version 3.3.4 of IPBoard to version 3.4.1. Are you talking about an ipboard phone app?

Yes. I check posts on my Android, but I never write posts unless I'm at a keyboard.
