I just read this in the trivia section of Superman (1978):

Composer John Williams used the same orchestra that he also used for his themes for all six Star Wars movies (he used the London Symphony Orchestra), hence how some of his film scores sound like Star Wars.

This is a hilarious statement!

London Symphony Orchestra just had a big jamming session and that's how this music came to be.

Seriously, though, there's no question that the same orchestra that played the Love Theme from Superman also did Jabba's theme for Jedi. Because, like, they're identical-sounding 'n' stuff.

Ditto for Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone.

Sounds like Dracula as well, but not like Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
