So will I!

What? Blame Nolan or see it in theaters? Or both?

Posted

If it's good, I'll praise Snyder. If it's bad, I'll blame Nolan. ;)

I know, I'll do the opposite. ;)

Nolan gets a "story by" credit. Start getting worried. ;)

That's probably the most positive opinion on Zimmer's recent "stuff" that I can agree with.

Any more positive and it would be just plain silly. :znaika:

So I guess it's Snyder's film...written by the same people who brought you The Dark Knight Trilogy. Doesn't really mean anything, Quint.

It could mean that Snyder was brave enough to tell Nolan to "STOP SENDING ME ALL THESE WORDS TO PUT IN IT." ;)

That article makes me even less enthused. Nolan was the saving grace.

From the look of it, Supes' future in movies is saved.

I don't know how about you guys, but I really like this poster:

Do you see the light?

THE BAND!

Glad to see him extending his arms ahead of him in flight in that poster. Arms at the side is so boring!

ditto, sort of like the bullet phasers, give us a continuous beam.

Sometimes different is just not as good, Wojo. Did you ever consider that?

Posted

I consider nothing. It comes with being inconsiderate and disingenuous.

He's just doing his same ole schtick Quint.

you know because different is bad.

I'll give you that molded nipples on the batsuit different is bad. Sixteen pieces of warp core powered by water pipes different is bad. The blippy phaser beams different don't bother me. I couldn't care less how Superman holds his arms while flying.

And I'm going to guess that the TV series budget couldn't make a man fly convincingly, so jumping over buildings became his preferred method of travel. The Salkinds had a much larger budget than the TV shows, and so Superman was able to fly instead of simply jump.

The blippy phasers bothered me. It wasn't being different or original it was stealing from a TV show named Battlestar Galactica.

It doesn't bother me how Superman flies or takes off. He took off differently in Smallville.

I'll go into Man of Steel far more receptive to the changes than I will this Saturday watching Star Trek Into Darkness.

Great, now say that again in geek for dummies language, please.

TV Spot #5

All those shots with the flames bother me.

I don't get why after all these trailers and TV spots we've still seen almost no Lois Lane

Posted

No that's in the sequel. the one scored by Michael Giacchino.

I'm not sure if this has been posted before, because I don't follow these threads.

because they are not by ILM :P

They wanted to show Lois Lane but feared people would confuse the trailer with the next season of Cougar Town.

That joke doesn't make any sense
