He said he would only do it if Brian O'Halloran and Jeff Anderson are on board.

Anthony Hopkins will play Freddy Heineken in The Kidnapping of Freddy Heineken, a role Rutger Hauer recently played in a Dutch movie.

Maybe totallylookslike.com is totally right?

Rutger needs to get a haircut before he looks undignified.

She's on a show actually (Longmire on A&E I believe). As for the movie, I've had no interest in the franchise until now, but I can safely say things have not changed.

So how is this any different from Transformers?

Michael Bay isn't involved and it has Kaijus (Monsters).

Basically its just a bunch of zord battles ala Sentai/Power Rangers. Should be fun stuff.

Del Toro said he thought on the film as something he'd loved to see as a kid.

I'm still 12 so bring it.

Exactly, some people can appreciate all types of films. This week alone, I've watched Star Trek Into Darkness, The Magnificent Ambersons, Iron Man 3, and Hold That Ghost.

If Pacific Rim is just a kid's movie, then so too is any fictitious or imaginative work that flies under an R rating. I know that I as a 30 something childless bachelor would be pretty bored if I had to stick to realistic accounts of adult situations that must be plausible or provide some message to improve my romantic or financial status. I would simply stop watching movies.

Well, then I was right about it!

Fuck.

a) I don't like that it's all from the perspective of the cameras, it feels distracting.

b) Great. Another Prometheus. This time with aliens under Europa, because it seems the worlds of our Solar System are only interesting if they have dumb aliens in them. Or random microbes.

So fucking disappointing.

It's so-called 'found footage' like Cloverfield or The Blair Witch Project.

You seem very defensive here Wojo. What's wrong with kids movies? Some of the best movies of the eighties are kids movies.

I think he was defending his taste in them. As if he felt compelled to do so.

I was wondering if that was by Mancina. It's beautiful! Seems to have a little Test Drive influence with the drums and the electric guitar.

I been replaying it a lot since I first heard it. It's lovely. And I'm glad to see Mancina back on the spotlight, some of his best works are for animation.

Wow, could be his best score since Speed 2!

I was struggling to stay awake during Saturday Night Live last night and dozed off during one of the sketches. When I woke up I thought I had awaken to a Digital Short then I realized they were showing a preview for White House Down.

Wow what an awful looking film.

August Rush is a great score. This is without a doubt his biggest film since the 90s.

Never heard that one.

Stephen Lang has signed on to Det. Ramsey in the adaption of Stephen King's outstanding novella, A Good Marriage.

Joan Allen and Anthony LaPaglia play the leads Darcy and Bob Anderson.

Darcy discovers that her husband Bob is a serial killer similar to the BK killer in real life. Her husband Bob realizes she's discovered his secret. All the while Det. Ramsey has been piece the details together and also knows that Bob Anderson is the killer.

The novella is part of the book Full Dark No Stars, one of King's most satisfying works of the last decade.

Saw a trailer last night for Last Vegas - Morgan Freeman, Michael Douglas, Kevin Kline, and Dobert Deniro as old guys on a bachelor party in Vegas. Actually looked like it might be decent, but it probably won't be

we saw the trailer and thought it looked hideous. And worst of all it really doesn't even tell you what the film is beyond a bachelor party.

my brother in law said they should advertise it as a See Um before their Dead film!
