BLUMENKOHL 1,110 Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Loving the impeccable attention to detail. Just look at the crack on the 1980s space guy's helmet! And the depth of field effect. And the plastic mold seams.
Luke Skywalker 2,383 Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 shame that being warner...only warner things are going to be there...So no LOTR, STAR WARS and other franchises...It would have been better to make a movie out of the classic 1980's-1990's toylines (100% Original Lego)
Incanus 5,890 Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 So this is going to be another modern movie built on referencing other movies and popular entertainment? Whee! Fun!

Datameister 2,586 Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 I like the stop-motion-y CG animation style. Looks like it'll fit the film quite well. I doubt I'll go and see it, though, at least in theaters.
Quintus 6,495 Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Where will you be?Watching Masters of the Universe.
Incanus 5,890 Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Where will you be?Watching Masters of the Universe. This absolutely calls for a nostalgic video reference! So this is going to be another modern movie built on referencing other movies and popular entertainment? Whee! Fun!You...you used to be cool! WHAT HAS THAT GREEN BADGE DONE TO YOU? What?!!! I never criticized how it looks. I just said it looks like a boatful of references to every imaginable movie franchise and some toylines (beyond Lego) as well. I hope there is more to it than constant reference-fest when a new recognizable Lego figure pops up.
Ollie 1,375 Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 shame that being warner...only warner things are going to be there...So no LOTR, STAR WARS and other franchises...It would have been better to make a movie out of the classic 1980's-1990's toylines (100% Original Lego)I imagine the licencing rights would have been a nightmare.
indy4 160 Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 This looks awesome, although I agree I wish it was all 100% original legos.
Koray Savas 2,260 Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Looks like it's riding on Wreck-It Ralph's success.
Offline 29 Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 shame that being warner...only warner things are going to be there...So no LOTR, STAR WARS and other franchises...It would have been better to make a movie out of the classic 1980's-1990's toylines (100% Original Lego)...This is Warner Brothers. Don't they own New Line Cinema who did the Lord of the Rings Movies? They're doing the Hobbit Movies, so i'd assume they could've used LOTR Lego figures if they wanted to.
