This thread is for everything that you have bought recently aside from CD's and DVD's.

I got a new wallet and Apple earbuds today.

Great thread!

Last thing I bought (not counting the necessities) were a couple trombone books.

I think I'll get the new poster for Indiana Jones 4 as soon as it comes out.

Last month bought myself some new shirts, the iPod Touch and my friends laptop.

I bought an off-brand mp3 player of eBay for $45. Then I sold it locally for $70.

And I just bought a computer keyboard for $10 to replace my currently dying one.

I bought the services of several hookers. Cost me a pretty penny as well.

Couple of boring shirts to wear at work.

Don't have to wear a shirt/suit in my office :)

Could (and have) turn up tomorrow in a hoodie if I wanted to.

Penny sounds rather small for so many women :)

Couple of study scores. Planning to buy a new mobile (obviously Nokia) and a new LCD screen (a wide one) in the future.

A 300 gig 2.5" USB harddisk, to replace the 3.5" one that broke down two weeks ago. This is just for all my music in FLAC (and 2.5" means I can finally conveniently carry it to work). Now I gotta have Amazon replace the faulty 3.5" drive so I can use it as a backup for the new one.

Also, a few days ago, The Dresden Dolls Companion. Ordered that along with the Williams Anthology, which should arrive tomorrow.

Oh, I could do that too. But I'm by far the youngest worker here, so wearing shirts gives me some extra credibility which can come in handy some times.

Ordered 500 GB portable HDD today, as my 160 GB one in my PC is seriously stuffed. I'd also like a 22" Samsung SyncMaster 226BW, but I guess that'll have to wait for some time.

Along with the first season Lost soundtrack, I bought Cesar Millan's second book from Amazon.

Bought two nights stay in Toronto, Canada. And two tickets to the Evil Dead Musical! Yes, it was THAT good. Traveling to another country won't hold me back from seeing it!

Samsung SyncMaster 226BW. A 22" monster. Outstanding. I can't believe how great movies look on this. :P I also got Batman, Batman Returns and Imagine DVDs, all three for less than 20 €.

I just bought one head of cauliflower and two pounds of asparagus.

You'll have to come further south I think, I don't know how many of those there are in the northern half. But they are worth it.

They are moving North.

Now on the other hand if one were to want a Whataburger, well you know the drill, head south to Texas.

I know for you guys Taco Bell is boring stuff, but i love it,and it hasn't made it in this part of Canada

Blech, Taco Bell. I crap better Mexican food after eating at one of San Angelo's many excellent Mexican restaurants.

Posted

Indeed, too many good authentic Mexican restaurants around here to worry about Taco Bell.

Posted

I love me some Taco Bell. Bears no resemblance to Mexican food, though.

Chipotle is the best Mexican taste you can get around here...and I love it! Well, best Mexican fast food. Rio Grande is probably the best restaurant.

Gotta love Uncle Julio.

There's a Mexican restaurant called La Hacienda that we (my family and I) go to quite a bit. It's very good.

If any of you all ever go to Vegas at some point in your lives go to Macayo's Mexican restaurant, that's the best Mexican joint in town.

When I was in New Hampshire On The Border was the most passable Mexican food I could find. If any of you yankees have one near you that's the best you can do.
