King Mark 3,975 Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 I keep seeing new people. Post in this thread to identify yourself
NickTintin 0 Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 I'm new! First post actually! But a long time Williams fan. I started collecting his scores a long time ago and haven't missed once since. I love Tin Tin and the samples from War Horse. I think they're definetly his best ones in a long time.
Jay 46,244 Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 It's not Tin space Tin.It's not TinTin, with a capital T in the middle of his name. It's one word. Capital T, small i, small n, small t, small i, small n.Thank you.
Hedwig 5 Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 I'm new but I have been a John Williams fan for ages! I've also watched the forum for a long time but have joined now because of all the excitment surrounding these scores, just seemed like the right time So you could say it had something to do with these soundtracks .
Incanus 5,890 Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Welcome Hedwig and NickTinTin! It is true that these new releases inspire people, long time lurkers and other fans as well to join the messageboard which is just terrific. There are a lot of us here who share a passion for John Williams music. The more the merrier.

Joe Brausam 234 Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 I'm surprised that only now, in nearly 2012, do we have a member called Hedwig.Welcome!
Jay 46,244 Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 It's not Tin space Tin.It's not TinTin, with a capital T in the middle of his name. It's one word. Capital T, small i, small n, small t, small i, small n.Thank you.Boy, LeBlanc is such a dickhead now that he knows how to right Tintin properly. I think I prefered him when he was ignorant and writing "TinTin". He was much nicer back then. Ah, those were the days!LOL
Jay 46,244 Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 But how will we know what is happening in the world of Game of Thrones and The Hobbit?????????
Percival 0 Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Better than seeing dead people, I suppose ... I'm new, but a long-time lurker, joined to post because of War Horse in particular (filmed in my neck of the woods).
Incanus 5,890 Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 But how will we know what is happening in the world of Game of Thrones and The Hobbit?????????I'll give all my powers to Incanus. He's the one who will guide you from now on, and give you all the updates. The Messenger is no more. He died when I made that typo."Don't tempt me BloodBoal! I dare not take it. Not even to keep it safe. Understand BloodBoal, I would use this Messenger power from a desire to do good. But through me, it would wield a power too great and terrible to imagine."
Incanus 5,890 Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 BloodBoal Messenger! I am not a conjuror of cheap jokes! I am not trying to rob you, I am trying to steal from you! There is a difference!P.S. I am too lazy to comb the internet for those news man. Keep your job. Pretty please!
Incanus 5,890 Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Hey! I'm 80, dudes!Dudes? What are you? An 80 year old hipster who is stuck in the 1980's and 90's using old colloquialisms? Cowabunga!

Incanus 5,890 Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 I can remember Hannibal crossing the mountains like if it was today, lad!KarolYes everything was better in our youth before the Punic Wars. The grass was greener, the pidgeons were fatter, sun shone brighter. In those days you had to go to school on foot and walk 60 miles back and forth. No cars or trains or planes. And in the winter you skiied that distance in biting cold. Half of your fingers had to be amputated before the age of 10. Those were the times. You think you have tough now, do you punks!!?So don't go worming out of your prized position as the Messenger BloodBoal! To the bitter end!
crocodile 9,724 Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 At least we knew they were there.Karol
crocodile 9,724 Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 That is true... Where are you now, Poseidon?A career change, perhaps? A fishmonger maybe. Times are hard on them to after all.Karol

KK 3,313 Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Kind of late response. But I'd probably one of those guys who just joined this forum because of Tin Tin and War Horse. I've been a fan of John Williams ever since I listened to my first JW score (Star Wars!). I just got my Tin Tin CD today....I see I'm pretty behind when compared to everyone else. I'll start listening to it tonight. Can't wait!- KK

eitam 423 Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Well, for 5 or 6 years I've been reading this forum on a daily basis... So when for the first time in my life I found a quite valuable piece of information about the most important thing on earth (John Williams' next score) before everyone here, I thought it was a good pretext to join...
Luke Skywalker 2,385 Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 It's not Tin space Tin.It's not TinTin, with a capital T in the middle of his name. It's one word. Capital T, small i, small n, small t, small i, small n.Thank you.my amazon.uk receipt says otherwise
JamieC 13 Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 I'm new around here, too, having just signed up this week. Amidst the Tintin and War Horse excitement, have folks also been enjoying JW's 'On Willows and Birches' which has also become available this autumn ?
