#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,387 Posted January 19, 2005 Posted January 19, 2005 Ren, I like your new avatar, but Jeff Goldblum and that kid with the big grin have to go!
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,387 Posted January 19, 2005 Posted January 19, 2005 Joe wears pink dresses?
King Mark 3,975 Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 Justin's Avatar is dead! Edit:err,no..it's moving again K.M.Who doesn't have a new avatar because he hasn't bothered to figure out how to make a new one from scratch, and the other ones he attempted didn't fit the MB standards.
John McClane 1 Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 Justin's Avatar is dead! Edit:err,no..it's moving again K.M.Who doesn't have a new avatar because he hasn't bothered to figure out how to make a new one from scratch, and the other ones he attempted didn't fit the MB standards.Yeah, sometimes it's moving, sometimes not. Luckily mine is always moving. We Italians might have a better tecnology... Mark, maybe what you need is just change Darth Vader's avatar photo...here some suggestions (but I don't know if they're fitting the MB size-limits)I found these searching with Images with Google.
#SnowyVernalSpringsEternal 12,387 Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 So much for Italians and technology.
Justin 2 Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 LOL LOLJustin - Who telepathically stops his avatar from twirling so people can enjoy the symbol in it's natural state.
Melange 448 Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 Justin's Avatar is dead! Edit:err,no..it's moving again Justin is using the old marketing technique, that knows most people look left when they enter a shop. Like supermarkets place all the fresh fruit and things on your left, he's using his avatar to manipulate us all into slavery through hypnotic rotation. Either that, or he's working on a new energy system for the world. Giant spinning Star Trek insignia turbines placed in fields, and stretching as far as the eye can see. Over the horizon, and onwards................to eternity
Ren 77 Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 i would never cut jeff goldblum from my avatar. jeff goldblum is a hottie.
SturgisPodmore 0 Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 Mine is the dementor's hand reaching around the door in the wonderfully chilling Apparition on the Train scene from POA.~Sturgis
Ren 77 Posted January 22, 2005 Posted January 22, 2005 neil on the other hand. . . .i would have to cut out of my picture.
John McClane 1 Posted January 22, 2005 Posted January 22, 2005 Ren, you should put a photo of you only as avatar.
SturgisPodmore 0 Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 Now mine is John and Agatha from Minority Report, my favorite movie. And, my signature is another picture from the Buckbeak's Flight sequence in POA.~Sturgis, whose name, for those of you who don't know, is from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Mr. Breathmask 624 Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 And still, your screen grab appears to be in the evil format. Well, at least it's from a movie shot on Super 35.
Ren 77 Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 I could put a photo of me as my avatar, but I like being with my friends.
Ren 77 Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 of course he is, but 1. all of us wouldn't fit. and 2. i didn't stay 2 nights in a hotel with him either. but he's still my friend:)
SturgisPodmore 0 Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 Oh, Marc, I've been meaning to tell you, I don't buy movies in the evil format! I need the Widescreen, too! These pictures were from www.veritaserum.com, where they are of the evil format!!!!I wouldn't dare buy movies without the proper Widescreen format!!~Sturgis
Mr. Breathmask 624 Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 Good, in fact, on second thought, looking at it again, I'm not sure it's a screengrab from a 4:3 version, because the widescreen frame actually has more image at the top and bottom. EDIT: Upon checking the site, it does appear to be from a pan & scam version. Tsssssh.....
Melange 448 Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 I could put a photo of me as my avatar, but I like being with my friends. It's the Trinity. It's the three wise men (one of them being a woman)It's the Good the Bad and the Ugly (who is what, you decide)It's the three amigos......arriba arribaIt's a............threesome
John McClane 1 Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 It's the Good the Bad and the Ugly (who is what, you decide)Ren is Good, Jeff is Ugly...........sorry Neil! Althought the two men could exchange their names...It's the three amigos......arriba arribaEddie Guerrero's ©...Viva la raza! Olè!
SturgisPodmore 0 Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 Good, in fact, on second thought, looking at it again, I'm not sure it's a screengrab from a 4:3 version, because the widescreen frame actually has more image at the top and bottom. EDIT: Upon checking the site, it does appear to be from a pan & scam version. Tsssssh.....Does that version look a little more colorful than the one in my signature?~Sturgis
Mr. Breathmask 624 Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 Yes it does. The sky is bluer and the trees and the castle are slightly greener. Small difference, though.
John McClane 1 Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 You might update your signature Sturgis, then...
Ren 77 Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 you might. . .well maybe i'll change my signature so not to offend any other 'friends' LOL
John McClane 1 Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 I don't remember your signature, Ren...you use the Quick Reply too much!
Ren 77 Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 i meant my avatar. . . . .i know i don't use my sig too much. . .sorry
John Crichton 4 Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 You can select an option in your Profie that'll always attach your signature even if you use Quick Reply.EDIT- Forget it. Just tried it and no sig. John- who never uses quick reply so he has access to the various emoticon options available.
John McClane 1 Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 Yep, he seems he listened to my suggestion!Great, Sturgis. A little bit too big, maybe. It would be cool to see your old picture in the Good Format. :spiny:
Mr. Breathmask 624 Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 Was that this one?Looks like this in its original format:
SturgisPodmore 0 Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 Ooooh, I like that, but I wanted something of a lighter change to go along with the changing of my avatar.~Sturgis
John McClane 1 Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 Cool...I prefer the older one. It's my opinion. It's more dark, more misterious.
SturgisPodmore 0 Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 Hmm... Actually I do like this. Thanks all! :spiny: ~Sturgis
Mr. Breathmask 624 Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 But now you've cropped it... - Marc, :spiny:
John McClane 1 Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 Yeah, you cut the borders a little bit...no problems thoughtAnd it looks like we turned this avatar thread into a signature thread. :spiny:
SturgisPodmore 0 Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 Yeah, it does. Now, it's perfect. It's the good format, but not big enough to do serious damage. :spiny:~Sturgis, making hot chocolate
John McClane 1 Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 Yeah, it does. Now, it's perfect. SturgisPodmore 0 Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 Woot! Widescreen sig and hot chocalate! You are a classy lad indeed. What can I say? ~Sturgis, who is putting that quote in his signature

Elmo Lewis 7 Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 And by "this", do you mean the original or the translation?
