Okay, we should probably switch back to English before everybody starts wondering just WTH we're talking about...

As to the cover artwork, really? You think so? I wish they'd do a DVD cover with this artwork, though (the Japanese OS album); that'd be my favorite for sure.

Got the 3D Blu-ray pack. First time I've bought a 3D BR... I just had slightest consideration that I might have 3D-capable hardware at some point in the future, and thought this one would be worth it.

Well, I would have bought it on blu ray, but I moved back to Germany in the meantime, and while the movie was only 13€ here, it was also region code B... and my blu ray player moved with me from the States :-/ Most other releases are region code free here, but not Tintin

Where in Germany are you? :)

Well, you could order an American Tintin Blu-ray from amazon.com!

I'm in Karlsruhe. Well, that's what I will end up doing... but it's still rather expensive on Amazon, afaik.

Good for you! I love Germany. Lived there myself for several years (in Munich and other cities in Bavaria and other states). :)

Who is Steven Spielbergilta? :P

It's "from" Spielberg...it goes to the end of the word...very weird language.

Dunno about weird, but I have a friend in Finland who keeps telling me that Finnish is one of the most difficult and complicated languages in the world! And I believe her!

Ooh, Quenya and Latin come to mind. Finnish is one of these languages I've been curious about lately. If I can ask, what is done if the word ends in "a"?

Actually there is misprint, it should be Spielbergiltä. They didn't have Scandinavian keyboard.

It doesn't make any difference if the word ends in "a". We have 15 different "grammatical cases" in finnish.

If I choose to example word very finnish thing Sauna, it will go like this:

in Sauna= saunassa

from Sauna= saunasta

to Sauna = saunaan

without sauna= saunatta

etc. 15 different endings....very complicated...but because of that, very rich language!

Plus the nightmare in all the linguistic rules are the myriad exceptions that usually boggle the minds of most non-natives. Especially in case endings and in verb conjugation. :P

Finnish language is agglutinating which means we add a lot of material to the word stem to express some things for which other languages have a lot of prepositions or postpositions for example. This does not mean we don't have the aforementioned prepositions and postpositions as well. A rich and complicated language.

In Spanish we only have one case left I think. That's why people around here don't know what a case is  Kind of makes up for our verb system.

Yes I forgot that.

And I also planned to write if you Chaac, have any questions about finnish language you should ask Mikko(Incanus).

He is amazing with languages, I have never seen even one misprint here in JWFan.com.

Ha, I'll use these examples when my American friends next complain about how difficult German is ;-)

Not really... Just cases.

Nothing weird about that.

That depends of what do you speak. Not everybody uses cases. This said it seems common in the old languages of around here so it doesn't feel very alien. But I don't think my Cantonese friend sees anything weird in the tone of a word having phonetic value or a Semitic speaker would see anything weird in their trilateral roots. But, given the speakers that I normally see around here, it could drive us nuts.

Oh God, I like too many languages. I don't know what to learn after French.

That bluray cover says TINTIN, not Tintin, personally I love Tin Tin.

Got the blu for a first time watch. Wonderful film, made me appreciate the score more.

Exactly same for me.

You guys didn't watch this in the theater?

Oh I thought it was his first time watch at home...I saw it in the theater, twice.

Anyways still wonderful film, made me appreciate the score more.

I'm from Belgium and Tintin is an important character for me because i grow up with these stories.

I pass everyday in some train stations who inspired some pictures of the comics.

I was in Bruxelles when Spielberg came for the world premiere. I saw Spielberg in his car 4 hours before the premiere when his escort overtook our car on the road.

At the premiere, I don't received autograph but i took a lot of pictures. My pictures are not really good, my regret.

That was crazy. They played the soundtrack in all the place. It's a great memory. I remember how the ground vibrated with the John Williams's soundtrack.

It's not my video but it's always amazing to look and to hear that. (I don't took videos, another regret)

I saw two time the movie, the day of his release and a week after. And I bought the combo DVD-BR the day of his release.

The adventure of Tintin is a great adventure for me, a lot of good memories, a good adaptation, a good movie, a good story, good musics.

Just some bad stories with Sony.

For me it's the best Spielberg's movie since 2000.

Wow, this is indeed a nice video...

And this piece truly rocks! :)

The show wasn't interesting but it's to give you an idea of the size of the event.

All the district vibrated with the soundtrack, seriously that was amazing.

Yes, you can almost sense the music also rocking the crowd!
