Finally!

I wouldn't mind Desplat scoring this one if Arnold, Gregson-Williams, Powell, Giacchino, Horner, Shore (heh I wish), Williams do not.

But it will probably be Brian Tyler or Steve Jablonsky.

I agree with you Mr. Big, the last one looked really bad in the dark scenes (very Soap opera'y) and in the CGI department.

Aren't the kids a little too old now?

The rest of the films onward would have different kids/the same kids grown up.

I liked the first movie. Was bored by the second one. Didn't give a crap about the third, and the fourth can be turned into a crappy Pixar flick for all I care.

Maybe Arnold can return from retirement finally and do the score. Then I might be able to feign some interest.

I've never seen a modern Narnia movie, only the old British one they used to show on PBS. I wish I remembered it.

Sweet, they are still doing The Silver Chair!

I still haven't seen it!

Then why do you care if they're making a fourth one...

I liked the first two movies, and I liked the books. I'll see the third; I just haven't yet.

There's no way they end up finishing this series. Continual diminishing returns won't get them anywhere near 7 completed movies (or more, since you know that last book needs to be split up!).

So they're filming The Silver Chair? Cool!

I thought that was always the one in the works.

Read page 1 of this thread. They flirted with doing The Magician's Nephew instead.

Thats from 2011!

Yep. We've known it would be SIlver Chair for quite a while now. Too bad too, I'd rather have Magician's Nephew!

I don't think you could call The Silver Chair a direct sequel even if you tried. It's a very different story than what came before with different characters and different places.

So why call it a reboot?

Because money.

Hey, it worked for Batman Begins and Casino Royale...

Yes if you read the article it explains the whole reboot angle
