I rarely eat breakfast. I prefer to sleep through it. I'm getting back to my one-meal-a-day situation now that I'm working again. Wake up, go to work, during my lunch break eat a protein bar, and when I get home have a nice dinner. I don't work out much but if you want to lose weight do any type of cardio. When I was working at the the theater, I lost a good 20-30 pounds in a few weeks just running up and down those projection booth stairs all day. Gained it all back working at Best Buy though.

I quit soda, but will still have one occasionally if I'm out with friends and such. I also cut back on drinking after I had a bad night with a bottle of rum.

You're young, you can do anything you want and be fine :)

hell you're all young, except for Ricard, KM, and Alex.

tonight Dave is fixing quick spaghetti, I don't have to cook and I'm loving it.

I have no money, lawyers are expensive. I had a can of tuna with done Greek yogurt as mayo. Salt pepper pinto beans and beets. It was ok. ;)

That's not the way to do it at all. You're supposed to eat more, spread throughout the day. A good breakfast will kick-start your metabolism. Eating basically nothing and only one meal a day seems ridiculously unhealthy and would make me absolutely irritable. I need food immediately after I wake up.

I'll let that one go because I like you.

Yeah I didn't mean it as a way to lose weight, it's just how I am. Hunger goes away after a little while, at least at work.

Christ I fixed that twice. How I didn't see it the third time I have no idea. Apparently my phone wants me to be a lesbian. Ok!

alicebrallice, do you have a thing for putting one of your feet into every photo you can?

Because I do, and I was wondering if I'm alone.

Breakfast for dinner tonight.

I was making Cracker Barrell's hashbrown casserole the other night along with some oven fried chicken. I had severely sprained my wrist the past weekend and I reached in the pull out the dutch oven I was cooking the casserole in when my wrist popped and I dropped the pan spilling it all in that hot oven. It's too hot to turn the oven to self cleaning right now so I had a mess to clean up. At least the chicken was great as were the lima beans I cooked. and now 2 days later the swelling in my wrist is finally going down.

I'm cooking mongolian beef tonight.

A dutch oven. A marvelous cooking device that every kitchen should have at least one.

Looks like a pan....

hardly, it's much more than a "pan".

it's a dynamic cooking vessel.

tonight I'm making fried rice and some mongolian beef.

tomorrow I have to cook for breakfast for my co-workers. So I needed something uniform and simple.

I'm making biscuits with a small bacon/mushroom/cheese omelet inside. If I have to get up early I'm not making homemade biscuits, and I'm sure as hell not using canned bisquits(you know satan exists because canned biscuits are evil, I know lots of people like them), so I bought some frozen thin biscuits, the kind I'd make if I had time. they bake up so well. I'll assembly line them.

What exactly do you mean by a biscuit? The American term isn't the same as the English one - we know 'biscuits' as cookies, but I believe you mean it as some sort of cake/bread type thing?

biscuits with butter and strawberry preserves is sinful. biscuits with sausage gravy is sinful.

biscuits can be made with or without yeast, the ones I made this morning were without.

I like my biscuits crunchy on the bottom and flaky in the center.

Biscuits are really what you guy call crackers or cookies!

Just another case of Americans misunderstanding, like with aluminium!

no just another case of you not knowing what you're talking about. The biscuits I cooked this morning were moist and delicious. They were definately not cookies.

When I make cookies I make cookies, very few American's make crackers at all. That is something you buy in a store. And its Aluminum.

Making home made egg rolls tomorrow. 2nd time doing them since they seemed to have been a hit amongst my friends. Two phases. I'm making a home made Asian-style BBQ chicken, then I have to combine that with the rest (ground pork, carrots, nappa lettece, minced garlic and ginger, scallions, soy, rice noodle, etc). Deep fried to perfection. Lot of prep for an appetizer, but they were delish!

tonight it's pancake night at my house.

I'm making featherweight pancakes, they're so light and fluffy. And Ms. Butterworth syrup.
