lordskylark 1 Posted June 6, 2005 Author Posted June 6, 2005 Can the channels easily be edited with Music004 in an editing program, or should I rip it again? Are there any more tracks like that? Thanks,~Sky
Jedi Master Chris 0 Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 Actually, I notice Music026 has the same unreleased cue Music004 has only in sync. I think a cue that is out of sync could be fixed by deleting the left channel of audio, duplicating the right channel, and swapping one of the channels to become the left.
John Crichton 4 Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 Hmm,did Wiliams really composed thise percussions for the Dooku duel music?Or was this Ben Burtt messing around with synth drumsNot sure if he should include this in the AotC soundtrackI've always thought it was Williams. Like I said before it reminds me in a more "out there" way of the percussion at the start of the rope bridge confrontation in ToD. Plus that was Williams messing around with percussion in the Coruscant chase earlier in the movie.
Maurizio 6,913 Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 About the Bounty Hunter game music files:. Music034 has some unreleased stuff (after the ship sound fx) from AOTC (maybe it's an extended "Zam The Assassin", when Anakin and Obi-Wan talks while Padmè sleeps). . Music038 should be an unreleased cut again from AOTC (but it could be TPM maybe). , Music055 has again an unreleased bit from "Zam The Assassin" toward the endUPDATE:. Music125 has again an unreleased snippet from "Zam the Assassin" (should be the same of Music055).. Music131 is another snippet from the Dooku/Anakin Geonosis duel from AOTC . Music146 could be an unreleased/unused cut from AOTC (there's even the Separatist/Dooku motif), but it seems way too synth-sounding to be John Williams. . Music151 should be the unreleased cue when Dooku begins to use the Force against Yoda (I remember that strange electronic sound, but I could be wrong).
King Mark 3,975 Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 I have listened to them, but why do I not feel like checking where those unreleased snippet fit in and re-editing them in?K.M.
LongTallJodie 76 Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 I tried finding out where these snippets are in the film, but either the music in the pre-chase scenes are mixed so low that I can't hear it, or my speakers suck. Probably both. Quick, someone light the Takis Signal!
Alex_B! 0 Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 Lord Maurizio - thanks.Skylark - they aren't too hard to fix, but if ripping again won't take long that would still be helpful.Master Chris - NOOOOOOOO!!! The channels are different, duplicating one channel will be bad...If anyone figures out exactly how to edit these tracks in, would you be so kind as to post your discoveries? Thanks.
John Crichton 4 Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 . Music034 has some unreleased stuff (after the ship sound fx) from AOTC (maybe it's an extended "Zam The Assassin", when Anakin and Obi-Wan talks while Padmè sleeps). The end has a portion of the slugs coming out of the assasin droid and the shot of the sleeping Padme, then loops into something else (released). . Music038 should be an unreleased cut again from AOTC (but it could be TPM maybe).TPM, one of the Coruscant cues. , Music055 has again an unreleased bit from "Zam The Assassin" toward the end. Music125 has again an unreleased snippet from "Zam the Assassin" (should be the same of Music055).Both have the first few seconds of the Anakin/Obi-Wan conversation in Padme's apartment after Zam gets the slugs from Jango Fett.. Music131 is another snippet from the Dooku/Anakin Geonosis duel from AOTCIt's the same as what we got before other than the bit after the tipani roll, which could just be a loop. . Music146 could be an unreleased/unused cut from AOTC (there's even the Separatist/Dooku motif), but it seems way too synth-sounding to be John Williams. This one is very interesting. I can't place it, and there's definately a statement of the Separatist theme. Hmmmm..... . Music151 should be the unreleased cue when Dooku begins to use the Force against Yoda (I remember that strange electronic sound, but I could be wrong). I'm not sure about that, but I don't have any better suggestions. A couple of notes sound like the start of Yoda/Dooku, but the rest doesn't. Could just be original music for the game, does this one have any? Thanks for the heads up Lord Marurizio!
ridan 0 Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 I have a version of the Battle of Naboo, with a version of DotF that has cymbals... where is this to be found?

John Takis 394 Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 Quick, someone light the Takis Signal! *John sits at his computer, staring intensely at the wav editor, contemplating. Suddenly, a light breaks through the window. He stands, light and shadow painting the letters "JT" across the room. Dramatic music swells...*John Chricton is right about the first five. As for the other two.... Music146 could be an unreleased/unused cut from AOTC (there's even the Separatist/Dooku motif), but it seems way too synth-sounding to be John Williams. This one is very interesting. I can't place it, and there's definately a statement of the Separatist theme. Hmmmm.....Definitely synth, not from the score. Probably one of their composers messing around with some of Williams' motives and textures.. This definitely IS unreleased material from the score. It's from "Yoda Strikes Back". The reason you only recognize a part of it is because this mp3 doesn't contain all the elements of the finished cue. Williams has all sorts of crazy drums, vocals, textures, and electronic effects going on in this cue, and much of it is overdubs which are missing here.
Henry B 51 Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 Definitely synth, not from the score. Probably one of their composers messing around with some of Williams' motives and textures. That's Jeremy Soule, not "one of their composers!" "The Jedi Enclave" - Jeremy Soule... So wait, where is the bulk of "Duel with Dooku"? I haven't seen the filename mentioned.

I take back what I said, this one is neither too short nor laden with SFX.
Luke Skywalker 2,383 Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 If any cna extract the unchoral version of DOF or any unreleased music from EPIII game we would be very grateful.Luke, hoping DOF is complete this time...
Alex_B! 0 Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 Has anyone made a complete version of TPM using all current knowledge and sources, including those from after ElvisJones' guide, that could be put on Skylark's server (if he's willing, of course)?Luke Skywalker - do you know that there is a complete instrumental DotF or unreleased RotS music in that game? I assume you mean the Revenge of the Sith game...I tried to find out how to extract the music from skylark's file and found nothing, but I will try again if anything we don't have is known to be there.
Alex_B! 0 Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 Sorry, I guess my wording was confusing...I meant that as a question (IF you have discovered that something of interest is only in that game, I will try).
ridan 0 Posted June 8, 2005 Posted June 8, 2005 I'll re-ask this...I have a version of Duel of the Fates which, in parts, has cymbals. It is also filled with a whole slew of percussion and is much faster paced... Which version is this, and where did it come from? The sound fits the title "Grand Duel" but I don't know if this is it.

The sound fits the title "Grand Duel" but I don't know if this is it.It's the film version of "Duel of the Fates." It goes between "Anakin Takes Off" and "The Droid Battle." The other film cue related to Duel of the Fates is "The Great Duel," which follows "Up the Wire" and precedes "The Invisible Wall."

I take back what I said, this one is neither too short nor laden with SFX. I believe this is the original cue before it was edited and Ben Burt or somebody added other musical sounds to it. This cue was also tracked into the conveyor belt scene. If you listen to it in that scene, it sounds more like this cue then the final film version. Also, the very end of this clip leads into the music heard in the film where Yoda says "Powerful you have become Dooku..."
John Takis 394 Posted June 9, 2005 Posted June 9, 2005 I believe this is the original cue before it was edited and Ben Burt or somebody added other musical sounds to it.I have to disagree. I think that, in this case, the overlays were intended by Williams. He does this all the time when it's more convenient to record parts seperately and then combine them later.
